BannerSnack Giveaway Contest – Making Flash Banner Ads Online Without Using Flash

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

The Scenario

So, I’ve been there before…  That little place in your career where you have to knock out banner ads for someone all the while thinking, “I wish there was a way for them to do this themselves!”.  You end up having mounds of revisions because you are the only person in the office with Flash and a basic knowledge of playing with the timeline.  BannerSnack aims at helping you out with that.  BannerSnack is a cloud application – meaning it exists online.  BannerSnack will help you create Flash-based banners using WYSIWYG tools while leveraging advanced effects from our friends over at JumpEye.

Who is BannerSnack For?

Is BannerSnack for everyone?  Probably not.  If you are a 1337 Flash designer/developer it may a bit too easy for you.  I think that BannerSnack is for those who might not be very familiar with Flash, don’t have the cash to pay for Flash or to hire someone or for those who just need to get that banner out!  I’m sure there are many people out there who could benefit from the services provided.  If you want a good overview, head on over to BannerSnack’s site and watch the overview video.

The Contest

If you think BannerSnack might be something you are interested in then listen up!  I will be giving away two full copies of BannerSnack out for the Pixelfumes Christmas giveaway! All you have to do is comment on this post and describe to me how you would use it and why you should win.  Pretty simple huh?  Don’t freak out if your comment doesn’t appear right away, I moderate those by hand.  Winners will be chosen after Christmas and will be notified via email so be sure to include a valid one in your post.  Good luck!
