Adobe Developer Center: Kuler Panel for Flash CS3 Article Updated

If you have tried to go through the build of the Adobe Kuler Panel for Flash CS3 article on Adobe.com you might have had some problems as of late.  The article was written prior to the release of the Kuler APIs and the need for a developer key.  As of today the article has been updated and the source should contain the proper files to get your panel up and running.

    Hi Ben,

We have succesfully build an Adobe Air App, which retrieves colr themes from kuler.adobe.com.

I would like to get in contact with the Adobe Team behind this service to discuss use of the service in commercial projects. I’ve tried to contact the support team in Denmark, but nobody knows that the service exists ;-)

    Best regards,

    Tue Oxenvad

Tue, I don’t have a direct contact to send you to unfortunately. Have you tried using the Kuler forums (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/index.cfm?forumid=81)? Also, the terms of use (http://www.adobe.com/misc/copyright.html) make me think that you might not be allowed to use the API for a commercial project.

I’ve been speaking to every supporter at Adobe, both in the States and in Europe without luck.

I’ve created some threads in the Adobe Development Connection, but the forum states that “…online forums are for user-to-user discussions of Adobe products, and are not an official customer support channel for Adobe.”

This leaves me somewhat stuck in the jungle. Anyway, thanx for your response – please contact me if know any developer from the Adobe team who knows just a tat about Kuler :-)

    BR Tue
